Ryunosuke Kano is a Japanese barber, business leader, and executive of the HIROGINZA Group, one of Japan’s leading premium barber brands.

With around 10 years of experience as a professional barber, he has served thousands of clients while also building a strong track record in management, staff development, and business operations. He became an executive of the HIROGINZA Group in his twenties and has continued to lead from the front as both a top-performing barber and a business leader.

He is currently leading the launch of HIROGINZA Australia in Sydney CBD, overseeing the business from the ground up — including store development, operations, recruitment, training, branding, marketing, and long-term growth strategy.

His philosophy is simple: true success is built through discipline, consistency, skill, respect, and continuous improvement.

Ryunosuke’s mission is not only to introduce the quality of Japanese barbering to Australia, but also to build a premium brand and organisation that develops talented professionals, creates long-term career opportunities, and raises the value of the barbering industry worldwide.

Rika Kano brings experience as a barber and former manager of Premium Barber Akasaka in Tokyo, where she served as manager for six years from 2016 to 2022. Her work includes business hairstyles, perms, traditional facial shaving and facial massage.

She focuses on clean, practical styles, including iron perms that help shape volume on top and manage fullness at the sides. She considers each client's hair and preferred look, with careful attention throughout the appointment.

Rika looks forward to sharing Japanese barbering in Sydney through attentive service and an individual approach to grooming.
